Position size calculator
Five numbers in, one number out. It rounds down rather than to the nearest, because a size that rounds up quietly breaks the only figure you actually decided.
Whatever the number you actually size from. For an evaluation, the starting balance.
For MNQ that is 2. For MES, 5. For a share, 1. For forex, whatever one pip of one lot is worth to you.

Why it rounds down
Rounding up is a rule break with a calculator's blessing.
If the sum says 3.7 contracts and you take four, your risk is not the percentage you chose. It is eight percent more than that, every time, on every trade, and it compounds into exactly the drawdown you set the limit to avoid. The calculator inside Traily rounds down for the same reason, and it never stores what you typed.
This is arithmetic, not advice. It does not know your instrument's tick size, your broker's margin, your firm's rules or your account's state. Check the number against your platform before you use it.
Size is the easy half.
The hard half is taking the trade you planned. That is the part Traily measures.
